Special Effect

Special Effect are dedicated to using technology to enhance the quality of life of people with physical disabilities. They’ll do whatever it takes to help people with physical disabilities to enjoy games.

Caerketton Tech are working with Special Effect as part of our “Tech for Good” programme. It’s impossible not to be moved by the effect their work has on people’s lives, and we’re delighted to be able to help, in a small way, to the amazing work that they do. We’re developing a new chess game, played in the browser, which presents a perfect interface for eye-controlled software. This allows players, who can only communicate through eye movements, to enjoy a game of chess. Once the main version is released, we plan to connect players from around the world to enjoy games against each other.
